As part of MCMA’s Financial Sustainability Initiative and in alignment with the Ministry’s POA and Administrative Penalties Policy Review, the Financial Sustainability Committee is collecting province-wide financial data to support evidence-based analysis and advocacy for the long-term sustainability of municipal court operations.
What We Need from You by November 17, 2026
- Complete the Financial Sustainability Survey (one submission per courthouse)

- Complete and submit the POA Cost Framework (FSS POA Framework) (FSS APS Framework)
All court service areas are asked to complete the POA framework and return it to Amanda Kokas at amanda.kokas@grey.ca.
- Complete and submit the APS Cost Framework (if applicable)
Court service areas that administer an APS program should also complete the APS framework and return it to Amanda.
Optional Drop-In Session
Members of the Financial Sustainability Committee will host a virtual drop-in session to answer questions about the survey and costing frameworks on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 2pm.

All survey responses and financial information will remain confidential and will be reported only in aggregate form.
